Jungle, Easter, and a Cowboy!

Likely the only time TNB will be wearing an Easter dress
Sorry, folks...it's been a little time since my last post. Just been sooo busy.

The moms
Lisa's shower sounded awesome. TNB got a ton of goodies and, from the pictures, the ladies look like they had a grand ole' time in the jungle themed party (Ballou...Baloo the Bear...the Jungle Book...get it?). My favorite detail was that instead of cards, each person brought their favorite children's book & included a message to TNB. They gave it to us in a jungle-y bookshelf which, by chance, goes perfectly in the nursery.

I went to Phoenix and "worked hard"...ok, it was horseback riding for a team celebration, but still...living this life is hard.

Yes, those are chaps.
Besides a wonderful Easter, last weekend was filled with Nesting activities. Seriously, we're getting more done in these last couple months of Lisa's pregnancy than we did in the entire four years we've lived there. New appliances and shades were selected. The house isscheduled to be painted.

A particularly proud moment for me this weekend was during our "Car Seat Installation Inspection" to make sure we know how to safely strap TNB in. The inspector told us we had done it perfectly (ok, all I did was follow the instructions, but still...don't rain on my parade). Now, if only picking a name were that cut'n'dry...

Lastly, but not least-ly, we got to meet a new addition last night. Some of our best friends, Sarah & Rogèr, had their second kiddo, Cid Balyon, yesterday. It was fun (and made things pretty darn real) to hold him.

  1. Isn't it amazing how much you get done when a baby is coming soon?! I can't wait until its us visiting you and TNB in the mother-baby room!
