Happy 2nd Birthday!

Our (not so) little man turns TWO today! And in honor of that, we put together a quick note to him.

Dear E, 

On past milestones we may have posted some gushy letter to you for the world to see, but we're not going to do that here on your second birthday. There are entire shops full of cards that say those things better then we do. Though we would love to tell everyone about...

• How you're a center of our universe (*we've got a handful of them) because you have a light and a gravity that pulls us into orbit. 
• Or how you perpetually amaze, delight, and scare us with how much you understand, like when you announce in your art class that red and blue make purple. 
• Or how you melt our hearts when you want baby J to play in her gym so you can tell her she's your "Sish-Ter" or when you call the dogs over so you can read to them from your book.
• Or how you teach us to keep enjoying the simple things like when you get just as excited seeing the "MAH-chines" by the new construction site for the 4th time that day as you did the first. 
• Or how proud we are when you help put away your toys before bed or how you'll go out of your way to say "bless you" or "gesundheit"...even Cody & Bailey. 
• Or how much better life is when you laugh hard...even at jokes you don't fully understand. 
• Or how it's fun to sing and dance, regardless of how many words or moves you know. 
• Or how you've made the past two years the best (and busiest) of our lives. And how excited we are to get to spend so many more with you. 

Nope, we won't say any of that sappy stuff. Instead, we'll keep it simple and clean and leave the greeting cards to Hallmark.
