SIX Weeks?!

Can you believe how OLD he looks??
Holy macaroni, batman: E turns SIX weeks old today!

And with this maturity comes some exciting changes. First up, he's sleeping in his own room. Yep. The big boy has been in his crib (vs. the bassinet in our room) for the last few nights and doing just fine. Of course, we're right across the hall, so he still gets our attention at any time. Second (and AMAZINGLY), he slept for 6 hours straight last night!! That's right, SIX (a.k.a. double the norm). Lisa had to go and check to make sure he was breathing (he was).  Now, I'm sure tonight will bring something different...but it was a nice present from him to give his mommy and daddy. Finally, he's quickly outgrowing his newborn sized clothes and moving into the 3 months stuff.

We had a fun and somewhat low-key (for us) long weekend. Dinners/Brunches with friends, plenty of visitors, trips to Home Depot, picnics, and walks with the dogs. Opa and mommy planted a veggie garden (tomato, squash, peppers, oh my). Oma was sick, so couldn't come see lil'E, which was a complete bummer...but she's feeling better, so it won't be long until they're together again.

Anyhow, a short work week ahead!
