It's been a good week for us...slightly lower key than usual, though it might just be the calm before the holiday storm.
Uncle Brian stayed at our place for a couple nights last week, so it was fun having him around. Friday night we had a nice dinner with Opa and Uncle Brian. Saturday, we got the inside of the house decorated for Xmas. The lil'man loves looking at the Christmas tree lights. Somehow, we also found the time for a baby sign language class, an Xmas party at Oma's work (complete with E's first meeting with Santa), and a family/friend dinner with the Pilgerams. It sounds like a lot now that I write it, but it felt like a good pace.
Sunday, Lisa had a baby shower to attend, so it was me and E most of the day. It was nice and relaxing with a long dog walk and plenty of play time. I had fun revisiting my Mr. Mom days. And I got to witness how close he is to getting the hang of his Johnny Jump-Up and his CARS walker. I got to feed him bottles, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash.
Hopefully, we can maintain this steady pace as we head into the holiday whirlwind. And we wish the same for you!
