Last Thursday, the lil'man turned 18 months old. I know, this post is a few days belated, but I was waiting for his appointment for the stats.
Weight: 22 lbs, 1.5 oz (which is 22nd percentile)
Height: 31.5" (20th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19 7/8" (99th percentile)
Meaning his weight and height are very proportional. His head on the other hand...well, the doctor said his brain must be developing well.
On to the mushy moment: What can we tell E about how we feel regarding the last year and a half? It's hard to put into words, but here's a shot.
When we got pregnant with him, a friend told me, "Get ready to take your heart out of your chest and give it to that little kid."
At the time, it sounded strange.
Not any more.
But we couldn't imagine it in more capable, albeit little, hands. So thank you, E, for taking care of our hearts with such love, humor, and care.
