October 2019!

Trying to get back into a more frequent, bite-sized blog routine and so here goes October!

It was a good month: Work, More soccer, a Sharks hockey game, the jog-a-ton, doggie walks and the school luau (where we won best dressed family -- despite / due to my awesome contrasting garb).

How could I forget Halloween! E sported a Knight costume and J went as Little Red Riding Hood for the school parade and a Hippie for trick-or-treating. And as far as what a successful Halloween goes, we donated a TON of candy and still have enough to last until next Halloween.

Another cool highlight was Lisa's trip to Arkansa to visit Aunt Vicki's childhood home and family with Uncle Ron and Kristi. It looks like they had a fun and relaxing time and I got to spend some quality dad-kid focus time.

The biggest topic of most our conversations these days is a THAT WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY. In fact, Nana & Papa are getting a puppy from the same litter...so in a way, we're getting TWO puppies. There's a lot of excitement, preparation and nerves about the addition to the chaos as we prepare for the love and labor coming. So expect to see a lot of pics and stories of Penny (ours) and Dixie (Nana / Papa).
