Baby, Book Launch, and the Bayou!

We had so much fun this past weekend (okay, we have a lot of fun most weekends).

Friday began with dinner at THE FISH MARKET with Oma, Opa, and Uncle Brian. Not sure I've mentioned today how much I love their Cioppino, but I LOVE THEIR CIOPPINO.

With Katherine Longshore,
author extraordinaire

Saturday, lil'E cheered on Lisa's goddaughter, Gracie, as she kicked some serious...soccer balls...in her soccer game. Then it was off to Davis, CA for Evan's very first book launch party (mine and Lisa's too)! Evan did great for the entire 4 hour drive (couple hours each way) and was a champ while our good friend Katy read excerpts from her new novel, GILT...which everyone should read, BTW.

Sunday, E was seen at church, dancing to jazz at Campbell's "Boogie on The Bayou" art festival, and dining at Oma/Opa's house.

Tomorrow, Evan turns the big FIVE (weeks). We can't believe how much he's grown. Truly remarkable.

In other news, Opa got an amazing new camera. Enjoy some of these first shots.
