My eyes are still very, very blue

It's been steady as she goes for the Ballou pack since the last post. We've settled into a nice little routine of Mr. Mom, diaper changes, naps, playtime, and mommy working. E is steadily getting more smiley and giggly, though holding up his head for long periods is still a hard endeavor. But have you seen those cheeks? Anybody would have difficulty. However, it appears that the baby gym is paying off, he's gaining quite a bit of dexterity (see video below).

Today, we're headed for our first overnight road trip as a family. Staying in a hotel for a night and everything. Lisa has a bachelorette party that she's attending in Murphys, California (only 3 hours away, but still, a road trip).  And while the lil'man and I aren't invited to any of the wineries or other festivities (I'm not asking, and Lisa's not telling), we will be lurking in the background for when it's time to nurse or when there's much-needed mommy/ E time.  I'll let you know how it went next week.
