Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'!

Big week in E’s life since we last spoke: on Friday, he rolled over for the first time all by himself. Of course, it was while we were at work, but Opa saw the whole thing. To use his G-G's phrasing, we were tickled!  That evening we were having dinner over at Oma & Opa's house while lil'E was playing in his baby gym when - BAM! - he was over on his stomach again. The whole table cheered so loud that he flipped back over, wide-eyed, to see what we were going on about. I think we might've scared him a little, because he hasn't rolled since!

On Saturday, a very good friend of mine debuted her novel and so I went to the party while E and Lisa did stuff around the house (ok, the lil'man supervised). It was hard to be away from them, since family time is such a precious commodity, but it was worthwhile and made hanging out with them on Sunday even more special.

Yesterday, while we were at work, Opa and E went over to our place to do a quick project...but E zonked out for two hours and Opa (the sweet guy that he is) didn't want to wake the tyke, so he did chores around our house. Boy, do we love Opa! (...and good job E! Yes, we seriously know how amazing we have it).

Now, who is THAT handsome devil?

Tonight, Nana and Papa come in to town for an extended weekend...and they'll be babysitting the lil'guy while we're at work Thursday and Friday. *Fingers crossed*
