Some big news on the E development front: The lil'man can sit all by himself*. The first time he did it, Lisa and I cheered and he sorta looked like, "Well, if I knew there was going to be this much fuss, I woulda showed you a long time ago." It's adding a new dimension to playtime and makes putting on jackets just a little easier.
Also, he got his first bites of pureed Banana Squash. I've no doubt that GG is making a "yucky face" right now, but he sure seems to like it (though as you can see from that video, he's still got that Christensen love of oatmeal).
Anyhow, the big event of the week was Halloween in which E made good use of his cheeks as...POOH BEAR. We dressed him up and walked him around the neighborhood for a little while, though we didn't do much more trick-or-treating than that. The family came over to ogle over him while the dogs answered the door. A relaxing, memorable night overall.
Friday night we had dinner with family. Saturday, Lisa visited some of our good friends, Jen & Kris, and their new baby, Hailey, who was born on Halloween. While she was there, I played Mr. Mom and we had a lot of fun running errands and going on walks. In the afternoon, we had Baby Sign Language class...where we learned colors and practiced our alphabet. Then we had a nice dinner with cousin Kaylee. Sunday was (as usual) busy: Church, Coffee (where we got to see Noni), Winery, errands, and then family dinner over at our place.
Whew! All that fun is exhausting!
